Fall Arrest & Safety Harness – (Course Ref: FalWTe6)
This course has been designed for those who work at heights including users, supervisors and managers. The course identifies the legal and practical implications of preventing falls from heights and covers the need to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses.
Working at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR)
The WAHR came into force on 6thApril 2005. Health and safety law relating to working at height was updated by replacing and revising parts of other legislation. Under the Regulations working at heights must be organised, planned, and only undertaken by competent persons. Other legislation including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 and the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2002 must be adhered to.
There is a requirement for site resources.
